As part of the NEXT 2017 event team, I translated approved design concepts into detailed CAD models optimized for real-world fabrication. Working from the in-house creative team's visuals, I adapted each structure to be constructed with standard, sourceable building materials—ensuring both design fidelity and build feasibility.
large format printing and production
Print Production
Leveraging my background as a production manager in the large and grand format printing industry, I advised on the installation and setup of in-house large-format printers. I provided technical guidance on designing for UV flatbed printing, including the use of white ink layers, to ensure optimal output and production efficiency.
Installation and quality inspection
Installation
I traveled to Dallas, TX as part of a 25-person team to oversee the installation of large-scale structures for the conference. My role included on-site assembly, coordination, and post-event teardown, ensuring efficient execution and responsible disposal of materials.
